About Post : Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj has officially released the detailed advertisement notification (Advt. No. 03/2026) for the Uttar Pradesh Special Teacher Eligibility Test (Special TET) 2026. Online applications are invited for Primary Level (Classes 1 to 5) and Upper Primary Level (Classes 6 to 8) from in-service teachers working in state-run, local body, aided schools, and Special Educators / Assistant Teachers (CWSN) across Uttar Pradesh. The One Time Registration (OTR) based online application window will remain active from 05 September 2026 to 04 October 2026, with the written examination scheduled for 03 November 2026. Special TET – Primary Level	In-Service Teachers & Special Educators	Working teachers in State Govt., Local Body, or Aided Primary Schools (Must enter valid eHRMS Code during application). For Special Educators (CWSN): Graduation Degree + D.Ed. (Special Education) recognized by RCI + Active CRR Number and RCI Registration Certificate.
Special TET – Upper Primary Level	In-Service Teachers & Special Educators	Working teachers in State Govt., Local Body, or Aided Upper Primary / Junior High Schools (Must enter valid eHRMS Code). For Special Educators (CWSN): Graduation Degree + B.Ed. (Special Education) recognized by RCI + Active CRR Number and RCI Registration Certificate.
UP Special TET 2026 Examination Scheme & Qualifying Marks Exam Structure : 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 150 Marks. Exam duration is 150 Minutes (2 Hours 30 Minutes). No Negative Marking : There is no negative marking for incorrect responses. Qualifying Marks (General) : 60% marks (90 out of 150 Marks). Qualifying Marks (Reserved Categories) : 55% marks (82 out of 150 Marks) for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Freedom Fighter Dependents, Ex-Servicemen, and PwD candidates. Normalization : In case the examination is conducted in multiple shifts, score normalization will be implemented as per commission norms.

How to Apply for UP Special TET Online Form 2026 Visit the official website of UPESSC at upessc.up.gov.in. Complete the mandatory One Time Registration (OTR) process to create your candidate profile. Fill out the Special TET application form with basic, employment, and educational details (enter eHRMS Code or CRR Number as applicable). Upload scanned passport size photograph (30–300 KB), signature on white paper (10–200 KB), and required qualification/category certificates in PDF format (50–500 KB). Pay the application fee online through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking gateway.
