UP Scholarship is a scheme, Where scholarship are provided by the Govt of UP for the students who are studying in Class 9,10th,11,12th & Post Matric Students other than Intermediate. Every year by the Govt of UP the scholarship are provided for the students. The Scholarship Amount for different Classes is different. For the avail Scholarship which are provided by the Govt. of UP, Students have to apply the online form at UP Govt. Scholarship Portal which are https://ift.tt/kZDbH4v. There is no any percentage Criteria for the students to avail scholarship, but the instalment is sent to the account of students from upper percentage criteria to lower percentage criteria.
OTR (One Time Registration) has been made mandatory on the Uttar Pradesh Scholarship Portal from the academic session 2025-26.

UP Scholarship 2025 Eligibility Details Must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh. There must be current registration in school, college or any institute. Only students of class 9th or 10th can apply in Pre Matric. Only students of class 11th or 12th can apply for Post Matric. Any student except class 9, 10, 11, 12 students can apply for Post Matric Other than Inter. Students’ Aadhar card must be linked to their bank account. Must have passed the previous exam. For Renewal Candidate : Students who have applied last year do not need to apply again, they just have to update the registration number of last year through renewal link (they do not need to do new registration) Note : There is no cost for filling the form, its form is absolutely free.
How to Apply for UP Scholarship 2025-26 OTR : One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory from Session 2025-26 for applying for schemes on UP Scholarship Portal (https://scholarship.up.gov.in). Steps for Registration: After successfully generation of OTR, OTR Number will be displayed as well as it will be sent to registered mobile number only after that student can apply for UP scholarship. It is a three Step Process :- A.  Mobile Number Authentication. B.  Aadhaar e-KYC. C.  OTR Number Generation One OTR Number is allowed per Student:- In case more than one OTR is found for a student, he/she would be liable for debarment from scholarships Registration : After OTR Students has to Register in Scholarship Portal with Name ,Father Name ,College & Mobile Number. The Registration number is generated after Successful Registration. Filling form & Submission : After Registraion Students have to fill the form with their complete details. In this process all the mandatory information is filled by students with Income Certificate,Caste Certificate , Aadhar Number ,Bank account Details and other all information. Students have to fill all the information very carefully. Biometric Authentication , Verification and Forwarding from Institute : In this step form are Biometric Authenticated by the institute. After Verification form are forwarded by the institute. Computerized Scrutiny : In this step there are computer scrutiny of all form. Verification from District Scholarship Committee :  Forms are Verified by District Scholarship Committee. In this Step Students Can Check their Status that forms are accepted or Rejected. Aadhar Based Fund Disbursement : This is final step of Form of students. All the Students which status are Verified & Recommended by District Scholarship Committee , Fund transfer through Aadhar based System. Scholarship are credited in bank account.

About UP Scholarship 2025-26.

The UP Scholarship scheme supports students from Pre-Matric (classes 9–10) and Post-Matric levels (including Inter 11–12, UG, PG, diploma/PhD), covering both in-state and UP students studying outside the state.

Amount for the Students

Varies by scholarship level and whether you’re a day‑scholar or hosteller—approximate amounts are:

• Pre‑Matric: Day ≈ ₹3,000/yr; Boarding ≈ ₹7–8,000/yr

• Post‑Matric (11–12): Day ≈ ₹7–10k; Boarding ≈ ₹12–15k

• Post‑Matric (UG/PG): Day ≈ ₹10–20k; Boarding ≈ ₹15–25k.

The Scholarship are Provided by the Govt of UP . This is the scheme in the govt send money in students bank account with the DBT transfer. With this scheme Govt. overcome students economical burden.
